Sometimes we stay up super late for no good reason other than cooking. Once upon a time we were making burgers at 11pm. It was way past everyone’s bedtime, but super fun. We mixed and hand pattied a bunch of burger to have a cookout, and enough to freeze for a later date.
Bunless Burgers (Gluten Free)
Ingredients:
- 3lbs of ground turkey or beef
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup ground gluten free oats (nutribullet)
- 2 cloves pressed or minced garlic
- 2 TBSP wheat free Tamari Sauce
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- Pepper to taste
ADD IN JALOPENOS IF YOU LIKE IT HOT, chunks of cheese if you can eat it etc. Get creative.
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Take off your rings, watches, bracelets and get your hands dirty. The best way to mix burgers is with your hands. O LOVES this part. Scoop mixture into your hands and form parties or use a pattie press. Grill or freeze burgers. We eat some, and freeze some. You can even make meatballs out of them.
There are plenty of gluten free bun options out there. We just prefer ours bunless.
